Paintings by David Novros are on view at the Hamburger Kunsthalle as part of the exhibition Back Then Has Always Been Now.
Featuring a selection of paintings created since 1947 from their collection, Novros' work is presented alongside works by Francis Bacon, Georg Baselitz, Werner Büttner, Sam Francis, K.O. Götz, Johannes Grützke, Sabrina Haunsperg, Almut Heise, Jörg Immendorff, Konrad Klapheck, Willem De Kooning, Hanns Kunitzberger, Maria Lassnig, Richard Lindner, Albert Oehlen, Rosemarie Trockel, Werner Tübke, Cy Twombly, Wols, Haegue Yang, among others.
